Why this venue
This garden has a capacity of 100 people, and it is possible to host a ceremony and a possibly even a cocktail/welcome drink in the gardens following the ceremony. There is also both covered and uncovered options for the ceremony based on your wishes and the weather! Typically, the garden is rented for a minimum of 1.5 hours.
Please note that only Protestant Ceremonies or Blessing Weddings are possible in the garden venues.
Venue Information & History
Vrtbovske Garden is an architectural gem with an original design, located in the heart of the city, in the Little Quarter. Not only is it a beautiful location, but it is a cultural landmark also, property of the first order, registered with UNESCO, and a property owned by the City of Prague. Located on the slopes of Petrin Hill, the Vrtbovske Garden is one of Prague's most remarkable Baroque gardens. This Italian-style, terraced Baroque garden was created between 1715 - 1720 next to the Vrtbovske Palace for Jan Josef, Count of Vrtba, the highest burgrave in Prague Castle.
